8 weeks old!! As of today, Sunday, May 30, our baby darling girl is 8 weeks and 1 day old! If we were still counting months like the medical field counts pregnancy months, then she'd be two months old! As it is, she'll be two months on June 3rd, Thursday- just 4 days from now!
Even though I knew all along that time would fly, I reallly can't believe it's flown by like this now! Two months old in just 4 days... She's like a whole new baby!! She barely resembles the little premie baby I gave birth to 8 weeks ago... I'm so glad everyone was able to see her when she was brand new! It's so amazing to see the changes in her, isn't it?? Our little miracle!
One of my favorite- and, well, everybody's favorite- changes is that she smiles now! She's still our little drama queen, but when she's happy and awake, she will smile for us! I've been trying to get a good picture of her adorable smile, but it's SO hard! For one, I don't want to blind her, so I don't use the flash- but since she moves so much, they all come out blurry! And, they are pretty brief, so often I get just the beginnings or ends of her smile... But still got some cute pics! Also, we went to Ihop and the Spaghetti Factory recently, and have some pictures of us there. For those who don't know, The Old Spaghetti Factory (abbreviated as OSF) is something of a landmark for our family. It's one of our favorite restaurants, and we've been to many- probably most- of their restaurants all over, from Hawaii to Nashville. It's not that we go across country to eat there, but since we are there anyway, we usually make at least a little effort to eat there! So it's cute that's she's been already, and we (I!), had to document it. <3
