Our teensy tiny little new born has become a big infant!
On her 2 month birthday- June 3- she weighed 10 pounds 2 ounces!!! Her lowest weight was 5 lbs 2 oz- she's nearly double her weight in two months. From the 2nd percentile to the 32nd!! I am so proud of my little girl.
She's also now 22 inches long, which is something like the 35th percentile? And her head is measuring around the 50th percentile! It's the only part of her since 34 weeks that's been still at the 50th percentile. Every part of her was at the 50th up until 34 weeks pregnant... Her head kept up, but the rest of her fell behind. Nice that the rest of her is catching back up!
But... Her head was really flat and elongated (looked like an alien head) when she was born, because she was breech. The doctors said it should round out by the time she's a month old, and while it mostly has- the top especially is nice and round!- the back of her head is still rather a large bump. So, they are referring us to a specialist... Wish us luck!
She also had her shots today, my poor little darling... It took a bit longer to affect her than I thought, but after her first nap, she's been really fussy and doesn't feel well...
I'm just so proud of my sweet heart, growing up so well, and trying hard to get past the pain of her shots!
