Happy Father's Day!

Happy father's day to the newest and bestest daddy to our newest and tiniest girl!
I tried to surprise Brian for Father's Day dinner with Dim Sum at a nice Chinese restaurant RIGHT on the bay. Gorgeous views, and my husband loves the ocean! So I thought it was perfect. Good food, but something different from our same old same old, and a beautiful view that he would love.
Of course, I had to include the grandfathers, too, but they both LEFT for the weekend! So I upped it to last night, and we were all able to make it! Even when we arrived at the restaurant, Brian didn't realize anything special was going on until I told him it was his father's day dinner- and that we had enough reservations for more than just us!

I was so excited to get dim sum... And then they finally told us that they only serve dim sum for LUNCH! Gah. When I made the reservations, originally I tried for Sunday afternoon, so they didn't mention that dim sum was only for lunch... When I realized that neither Grandfather could make it on Sunday, I switched to Friday, and they "forgot" to mention to me that there's no dim sum for dinner! Cry cry...
Oh well, it wasn't for me, it was for the men, and they seemed to have had a good dinner! Which is what matters. :)
On the Maichan front, she is 11 weeks old today!! (Today being 6/19) She's also 2 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days old! ...I'm not really obsessively counting. I am obsessive, yes, but I have a ticker to count for me. :D
I am in SO much shock at how quickly she's growing... I mean, next Saturday she will be TWELVE weeks old!! Just a bit after that, she will be THREE MONTHS OLD!!! And at that point, she should start getting out of her difficult infant stage and in to the oh so adorable baby stage! She should start smiling and laughing more, and just be over all a bundle of joy and fun! It won't happen right away, but it will start to happen more and more...
In fact, we're all already seeing signs of how much she's changing and growing. For one, just yesterday I put away ALL her old NB (new born) outfits and MOST of her 0-3 month outifts... And unpacked all her 3-6 months!! Most of which fit her well already!
We also had to retire her two smallest cloth diapers... Which is sad because they are the cutest! And we're starting to use her bigger ones- including buying more! Aw, she's growing so quickly. <3
And how did I manage to rearrange her dresser yesterday? Because she was awake and happy and NOT BEING HELD for about half an hour yesterday morning! I'm so proud of my big girl. <3
